D7D12L12 Series Firmware

This is the V2.1 firmware update for performance improvement and stabilization of the mightyZAP Force Control lineup (Model name 12Lf) products.

  • Update Target: All 12Lf models
  • Update Version: V2.1 (Final update: February 28, 2022)
  • Key Changes: Bug fixes and improved stability (Includes V2.0 improvements such as MODBUS RTU support)

Essential Preparations Before Update

Before proceeding with the update, please prepare the following items.

Important Precautions

Please read the following precautions for a safe and smooth update.

  • Equipment Testing Mandatory: If the firmware of an actuator applied to existing equipment has been updated, you must perform an equipment test again to ensure there are no problems with the operation characteristics.
  • Correct Model Selection: You must install the firmware that matches the model name of the actuator you own. If you accidentally installed a different firmware, you can proceed with the update again with the correct firmware.
  • Individual Updates: Actuators must be updated one by one. Updating multiple units at the same time may cause errors.
  • Check Connection Cables: Do not touch the communication and power lines between the PC, interface, and actuator during the update. If a communication error occurs, please refer to the manual and retry.
  • Change in Calibration Procedure: In versions V2.0 or higher, the Stroke Calibration procedure is skipped after the update is complete.
