3 Reference Data
3.1 Voltage Vs Speed
The graph of the speed change according to the input voltage at no-load condition. This data contains errors, so please use it for reference only.
Note
Tested at Goal Current 800.
3.2 Voltage Vs Stall Force
The Stall Force graph according to the input voltage. This data contains errors, so please use it for reference only.
Note
Tested at Goal Current 800.
CAUTION
The error for each Force value is +/- 15%.
3.3 Goal Speed Vs Speed
No-load speed according to the change in the Goal Speed parameter value. Depending on the load, the maximum speed may be reduced or the time to reach maximum speed may be longer.
Note
Tested at Goal Current 800.
3.4 Goal Current vs Stall Force
The Stall Force for the Goal Current setting value.
The Stall Force is measured by minimizing the speed value to measure only the force for pure current values.
CAUTION
The error of the Stall Force value corresponding each Goal Current value is +/- 15%. The areas marked in red has a relatively large error due to the internal load (for 200mA or less) and heat generation (for 1100mA or more), so please use it only for reference. If a continuous load occurs and a current of 1A or more flows, the current value gradually decreases and converges to 1A, and if the overload protection function is activated, an overload alarm and shutdown occur within several seconds.
TIP
This data represents the power of the DC motor, and we recommend users to set the Goal current to 3 times the actual load applied to the actuator. The smaller the difference between the actual load and the power produced by the motor, the slower the motor speed will be, and if they are the same, the motor will not move.
CAUTION : Setting the maximum allowable load (twice the rated load)
Maximum allowable load is the twice the rated load. In this case, the Duty Rate must be lower than 20%. EX>
| Load | Goal Current | Duty rate | Load | Goal Current | Duty Rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20N(Rated) | 800 | Max. 50% | 35N(Rated) | 800 | Max. 50% |
| 40N(Max) | 1600 | Max. 20% | 70N(Max) | 1600 | Max. 20% |
3.5 Goal Current vs Speed
The speed change of mightyZAP for the Goal Current setting value at rated load.
For rated load speed, it shows about 80 to 90% of the no-load maximum speed depending on the model.
Note
Measured under rated load.
CAUTION
Speed Data has an error of about +/-10%. The area marked in red is where the Stall Force at the corresponding Goal Current setting and the rated load are similar, so mightyZAP may not move. Please use it for reference only.
